What’s Happening at Health Unlimited?
We are Open – Come By and See What We Have Done!
Reopening plans just announced. We are excited to see you soon!
To All Health Unlimited Members
The Governor has finally given the go-ahead for fitness centers to begin opening their doors. We will be doing so next week in a gradual, phased-in approach that will allow us to adapt to the new protocols and processes that we need to have in place and ensure we are meeting all standards and guidelines established by the State, County Health Department, and the CDC.
Our initial opening will include adjusted hours, limited programs and classes, and some areas of the club remaining closed until a later date. We expect to do this in an effort to satisfy requirements and to manage contact amongst members and employees in as safe a manner as possible. We will gradually phase in additional hours, amenities, programs, and classes as things progress and as allowed.
Our Initial Opening Phases:
Beginning Wednesday, July 1st, our hours will expand to the following:
Facility: 5:00 am – 8:00 pm M/W/F
7:00 am – 9:00 pm T/Th
8:00 am – 5:00 pm Sat/Sun
Pool: 5:30 am – 7:30 pm M/W/F
7:30 am – 8:30 pm T/Th
8:00 am – 4:30 pm Sat/Sun
Kids Club/Yard: No hours
July 4th Hours: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm (12:30 pm for pool)
The entrance to the club will now be an Entrance Only and we have created a new Exit utilizing the emergency exit next to the front desk and indicated by yellow arrows on the floor.
You’ll have full access to the open exercise area where we have created distance between equipment to accommodate the social distancing guidelines. To that end, we have moved over 20 pieces of cardio and strength training equipment into the gymnasium to make use of our extensive space.
Where we could not move equipment, we have signs that show every other piece of equipment is “social distancing” and not to be used.
Group exercise classes have resumed with a limited schedule to start. We have placed markers on the aerobics room floor to indicate where participants should position themselves to help everyone maintain the safest and healthiest distance apart.
Participants coming for classes in the group exercise room will have the option of coming in the door that opens directly into the group exercise room from the rear parking lot – no need to walk through the building if you do not want to. ONLY members taking the class at that time are able to use that entrance. The class instructor will be there with the class roster to verify attendance in the class. This applies only to classes in that room and only to registered participants in those classes.
Class numbers will be reduced in all group exercise classes, per State mandate, and members will be asked to sign up for classes in advance. The full, detailed schedule will be posted mid-week and members will be able to begin signing up for class on Thursday, June 25th (one day in advance for classes).
The main pool will be open for lap swimming, individual aquatic fitness, and water walking. One person per lane, 30-min time limit per day. You are able to reserve a lap lane 1 week in advance.
The hot tub will be limited to 1 person at a time (2, if from same household), time will be limited to 15 minutes, and you will be able to reserve a time slot to ensure your access
