Health Club in Howard County
 History
Health Unlimited opened the doors to its health club,
serving residents in Carroll County, Frederick County,
western Howard County and the surrounding areas, in
1991. The health club was
begun by two enterprising couples who were looking for a quality
fitness facility in which they, and the community of Mt. Airy, could be
proud. In November of 1995, Health Unlimited health club changed hands to
the current owners, a local family with a long history in Mt.
Airy. Owner and General Manager Dan Strayton began operating
Health Unlimited on November 1, 1995 with the goal of bringing
to the community quality fitness programs and fun activities for
the whole family, including swim team, weight and fitness
training and aerobic classes. In the last 15+ years, Health Unlimited
health club has expanded from 4,000 to 35,000 square feet.
Health Unlimited offers a
state-of-the-art fitness and wellness facility.
